The deepest I've been diving was 132' off the Channel Islands, CA. and we spend just a few minutes before we had to surface -- just long enough to collect some HUGE scallops.

I think my photographer buddy had his lens wide open. This boat sits just off the beach in La Jolla. No, you are correct, you don't have a lot of time to look around. This particular "wrecK" is a little hard to find, so if you don't find it right away, you have to give up. At that depth, you only get a few minutes on it before you go into "deco." We have a fairly long and gradual surface schedule since we just swim along the bottom til we get out - so that takes at least a 20 minutes - no additional safety stops needed that way.
